This is the story of an Indian father. Idrees worked as a street sweeper. Unfortunately, in some parts of the South Asia, the reputation of a man is based on his profession. Street Sweepers are generally considered poor and lower class people in some parts of the South Asia. Idrees worked so hard to give good education to his three daughters. He told media that he would go for work before his daughters wake up and while coming back from work he would change clothes in public bathrooms. Idrees said he didn't want his daughters and the world to know that their father was a street sweeper. "I spent every rupee (1 rupee=one-cent) of my salary on my daughters' education but never told them my job because I wanted them to live with good reputation." told Idrees to media.
One time, Idrees couldn't save enough money for his youngest daughter's college admission. He was sitting near the dumpster and crying. Other street sweepers, who worked with him, came and asked the reason. He told them his story and they said: "Don't you call us your brother?" Then all of those street sweepers worked hard to pay for the college fee of Idrees's daughter. Today, his youngest daughter is about to finish her university. A lot of the times she cooks food and takes it with her for all those street sweepers. She tells them that "I wouldn't be who I am today if all of you didn't help me to pay my college fee."
Idrees says he is so happy to see all his daughters graduating in his life. He says he is not poor anymore. He has three daughters who are rich in knowledge.
