Introduction/Background: With the development of time our dependency on disposable items have increased because of which waste is increasing and is causing problems for our society. As the population is increasing rapidly our waste is also increasing day by day because of which it is becoming hard to control the situation and if we don’t take critical steps to control the current situation our society and environment could be badly damaged. Problem Statement: In our society we have a concept that every waste material is garbage or trash which is not true and this concept itself is a much bigger problem than waste itself as we do not properly dispose it and completely negate the option of its benefits to our environment and society. Another very big problem is that we don’t have proper arrangements for the segregation of waste because of which all kinds of waste materials mix up and pile up. Methodology: In order to overcome the current situation we have to follow internationally agreed best practices of waste management i.e. - Segregation of Waste at the collection point. - All recyclable material should be sent for recycling - All Organic wastes should be treated and used as raw material for fertilizers and other Agriculture products. - All inorganic material which cannot be re-cycled can be used for generating new goods such as “filaments for 3D printers and other spare parts. - This would no only boost our industry but also give us a huge boost in solving some of our biggest problems of our country such as “Finance ,imports and Poverty” by providing jobs etc. EDITIDED BY :INAM UL HAQ
